Lakeview's vision is "Living in God's Love, Living out God's Love"

Free Methodist
Lakeview is a member of the Free Methodist Association of Churches. Founded on the eve of the American Civil War,
the Free Methodist denomination stands for inclusiveness and equality. Since its inception it has opposed
racial, social, or financial segregation. While the symptoms that led to the founding of the Free Methodists are gone,
the underlying problems remain. Lakeview is committed to doing all it can to see them finally resolved.

We Believe

• In one living and true God revealed in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
• That Jesus Christ died as a sacrifice for all sin, and rose from the dead to intercede for His followers
  and sits at the right hand of God the Father
• The Holy Scriptures are God's record, uniquely inspired by the Holy Spirit
• God created mankind in His own image, morally free and responsive to choose between good and evil
• The church is created by God; it is the people of God and exists to fulfill His purposes
• That Jesus Christ's return is certain, and can occur at any moment to fulfill His promise, and claim His followers.

 

Lakeview Women's Shelter

The mission of the Lakeview Women's Church for the Lakeview Women's Shelter (which operates in a community-based partnership with Seattle Housing and Resource Effort (S.H.A.R.E. )) is to serve our Lord Jesus Christ by providing a safe shelter for women and empowering them to make positive life choices."...
